Avera has broken ground at Cedar Port Logistics, a 643,951 SF rail-served building, which can be expanded to a 760,400 SF cross dock. The project is situated on 40.77 acres within Cedar Port Industrial Park in Baytown, Texas — the largest master-planned rail-and-barge-served industrial park in the United States.
Cedar Port Logistics is located on SH 99 (Grand Parkway), with easy access to FM 1405, SH 225, SH 146, and Interstate 10.
The building features a 36’ clear height, 185’ truck court, ESFR sprinkler system, outside storage, 98 trailer parks and ample employee parking. The office will be built to suit the tenant. The excess land can be fully fenced and utilized as an outside storage area. The property provides dual rail service from Union Pacific and BNSF.
Current Cedar Port tenants include The Home Depot, Wal-Mart, IKEA, GE, Vinmar, National Oilwell Varco, Ravago, JSW Steel, and DHL, among others.
