Construction is underway at Bayport North Industrial Park — Building 1 in Pasadena, Texas. The 175,032 SF institutional grade tiltwall building is situated on 10.95 acres, and will include space for future warehouse and office build out. The building will have a front load configuration, 32’ clear height, ESFR sprinkler system, TPO roof system, 130’ truck court, 60’ speed bays, and the option for rail service with access to the Bayport Rail Terminal.
“We are excited to expand our presence at one of the few remaining prime industrial locations in the Pasadena area, particularly within the Bayport Industrial Park. The importance of developments like BNIP 1 remains clear as the need for prime industrial space persists, even in spite of current global events,” said Trey Odom, President and CEO of The Avera Companies.
Building 1 is adjacent to existing Buildings 2 and 3 in Bayport North Industrial Park. These two buildings comprise 465,851 SF on 30.5 acres, and were a build-to-suit project by Avera for Kuraray America, Inc, a Japanese manufacturer of chemicals, fibers and other materials.
